Aidon Jarid Gardner is the heart and inspiration behind The Aidon Jarid Foundation. Diagnosed with Lissencephaly at the tender age of 5 months, Aidon’s journey has ignited a passion within our family to provide essential support to families facing similar challenges.
When we first learned of Aidon’s diagnosis, we were overwhelmed and felt a sense of unpreparedness due to the scarcity of resources and guidance available. Determined to make a difference, we founded The Aidon Jarid Foundation to build a community of support for families who face similar hurdles.
But The Aidon Jarid Foundation is more than just financial assistance. We strive to create a community of support, a safe haven where families find understanding, resources, and a network of individuals who truly comprehend the unique challenges they face. Through our collaborations with medical professionals, support groups, and local organizations, we aim to connect families with the expertise and networks they need to navigate their journeys with confidence and resilience.
Our foundation is driven by the unwavering spirit of our son, Aidon. Despite the daily challenges he faces, Aidon embodies joy, curiosity, and an infectious zest for life. He finds solace in nature, relishing the simple pleasures of strolling through the farm, marveling at trees, and observing farm animals. Aidon’s passion to raise awareness for Lissencephaly and all children with special needs, is a guiding force for our foundation, propelling us forward in our advocacy efforts and inspiring us to spread hope and understanding far and wide.
